Our Interactive Teller Machine (ITM) Branch, located at 1430 N Michigan Avenue, is now open! Come experience our brand-new ITM machines. Similar to ATM machines, ITMs use a combination of touch screens and video technology to offer a virtual version of the in-person banking experience.

What is an ITM?

An ITM combines the ease of self-service ATMs with the benefits of personalized banking from a Health Advantage employee. An ITM looks like an ATM and can provide the same functions in addition to being able to speak to a Health Advantage employee using live video.

What transactions can be conducted?

Almost any transaction that can be completed with a lobby teller can be done at our ITMs; examples include balance inquiries, withdrawals, deposits, transfers, check cashing, loan payments and more! ITMs cannot disburse official checks, money orders or coin. Nor can they accept documents or coin. Members will need to visit one of our branch lobby locations to do these things.

Will I be talking to a machine?

No, you will be talking to one of our ITM tellers. A video of them will appear on your screen and they can help assist you with your questions and transactions.

How does an ITM work?

When you’re ready, simply touch the ‘TALK TO TELLER’ button, you will be connected via two-way live video with one of our interactive tellers to help with a transaction or answer your account questions.

Why should I use an ITM?

ITMs allow us to serve you by offering a new level of convenience, with Live Teller Support during normal business hours and ATM use outside of business hours. ITMs offer an alternative to waiting in line while providing safe, secure transactions.

Did this eliminate jobs?

No, it actually helped create additional job openings at our Credit Union.
